General

SILVER GUARD ® Silver (precious metal) anti-tarnish paper is refined using imported high-quality base paper and high-efficiency VCIrus-612SG anti tarnish protective agent. After packaging precious metals such as silver and silver plated parts, VCI anti tarnish protective agent can form a nano level protective film layer on the metal surface, blocking the erosion of moisture, sulfur, salt and other harmful gases in the atmospheric environment, effectively preventing the sulfurization or oxidation tarnish of silver and silver containing products, while maintaining the original weldability, conductivity and brightness of silver parts. It also has the same anti discoloration protection effect on other precious metals and their alloys such as gold, palladium, copper, etc. It is widely used in various silver crafts, electronic connectors, PCB circuit boards, electronic components, silver jewelry and silver plated ornaments, high-end jewelry, commemorative coins, decorations and other industries.

Applicable Methods

1. The surface of the protected object should be clean and dry before packaging. Then package and seal with anti color change paper at room temperature.

2. Clean gloves should be worn and do not touch protected objects with bare hands when packaging.

3. If protected object has protrusions or sharp edges, use cushioning materials to separate them before wrapping and packaging.

4. During packaging operations, the workplace should be kept away from highly corrosive substances such as moisture, acid, alkali, and acidic gases

Validity Period of Antitarnish

Not less than 12 months(use according to required specifications) 

Custody and Storage

With sealed package,it shall be kept in a dry and cool place,away from sunshine and no contact with ignition source and corrosive substance. The quality guarantee period shall be 12 months from the date of delivery.
